This field-proven smoker makes it possible to smoke even small quantities of fish quickly, inexpensively and in the best quality. The Helia Smoker 48 is equipped with special trout grates in which the fish lie belly up. The advantage is that the fish stay juicier and no liquid from the fish drips into the smoker. Flat grates are also included in the scope of delivery. On these you can smoke fillets, but also chicken, stilton and other types of meat. The smoking times for trout, carp, pike, pikeperch etc. are approx. 25 – 35 min. depending on the weight of the fish. In the Helia-Smoker 48, you can also “call-smoke” under certain conditions – at temperatures below 20 ° C – such as salmon and salmon trout fillets. The units are fitted with a seal and so can also be smoked indoors. Hardly any smoke comes out. This also means that very little liquid is lost, the fish remain juicy, have an excellent aroma and weight loss is minimal. The handy units are delivered completely ready for operation.
